The Wood

Teak is legendary for its exceptional durability and weather resistance, prized in shipbuilding and fine furniture for centuries. Its golden-brown tones and straight, open grain have a clean, architectural quality. Teak is naturally oily, making it highly resistant to moisture — an excellent property in a kitchen handle. With use, it develops a warm honey-gold patina.
