The Wood

Ebony is one of the most dense and lustrous woods in the world. Its deep, near-black color and fine uniform grain polish to a silky, glass-like surface that is as beautiful as it is durable. Long prized by craftsmen for fine instruments, chess pieces, and luxury objects, ebony brings an air of quiet authority to every handle. Its natural oils make it highly resistant to moisture, and it develops a subtle sheen with use.

Made to fit: this handle is made after you order and cut to your knife — we hold no finished stock. Exact dimensions are confirmed from your blade and tang measurements before work starts. We do not use one universal size for every knife.
