1. Who you are buying from
Horn and Grain is operated by Gtecom LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. These terms govern your use of hornandgrain.com and any order you place with us. In these terms “we”, “us” and “our” mean Gtecom LLC trading as Horn and Grain, and “you” means the person placing the order. By placing an order you accept these terms.
Registered entity: Gtecom LLC, 30 N Gould Street, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States
Workshop and dispatch location: Hanoi, Vietnam

2. Orders and acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we send you an order confirmation email. We may decline an order — and will refund you in full if we do — where the item is unavailable, where a price or description was clearly wrong, where we cannot ship to your destination, or where we suspect fraud.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are in US dollars (USD) and exclude shipping, import duties and local taxes. Shipping is calculated at checkout. Payment is taken in full at the time of order through our payment provider; we do not receive or store your full card details. Import duties and taxes are your responsibility — see our Shipping and Delivery Policy.
4. Our products are natural materials, made by hand
Every handle is shaped by hand from wood and buffalo horn. Both are natural materials, so grain, figure, colour and translucency vary from piece to piece. Product photographs show representative examples, not the exact item you will receive, and screen colours vary between devices. This natural variation is a characteristic of the product and is not a defect.
Wood is hygroscopic: it responds to humidity and temperature over its life. Care guidance is published on our site and in our guides, and following it is your responsibility.
5. Custom and made-to-order work
Custom handles are made to the measurements, materials and fit notes you approve — or, if you choose Starter Fit, to a deliberately small starter socket for your knife type that you file to fit yourself. You are responsible for the accuracy of the measurements, photographs and knife details you supply, and for the fitting work on a Starter Fit handle. Because a custom handle is cut to your knife and cannot be resold, different cancellation and refund rules apply — see our Custom Order Cancellation Policy.
6. Delivery
Production and delivery estimates are published in our Shipping and Delivery Policy. They are estimates, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
7. Returns and refunds
Your return and refund rights are set out in our Return and Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer in your own country.
8. Installation and safe use
Please read this section carefully. We sell handles, not knives. Fitting a wa handle normally involves heating the knife tang and seating the handle onto it. That process involves high heat, hand tools and an exposed blade, and carries a genuine risk of burns, cuts and damage to your knife.
- Fitting is done at your own risk. If you are not confident, use a professional sharpener or knife-fitting service.
- Our guides are general information, not instructions tailored to your specific knife.
- We are not responsible for damage to your knife, to the handle, or to anything else arising from fitting, modification or use, or for injury caused during fitting.
- Keep knives and handles away from children.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, photographs, guides, logos and designs — belongs to Gtecom LLC or our licensors, and may not be copied or reused commercially without our written permission.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or loss of use. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
11. Events outside our control
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including carrier and customs delays, extreme weather, strikes, or interruptions to power or communications. We will tell you if such an event affects your order and work with you to reschedule or refund it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of Wyoming will have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The version published when you place your order is the version that applies to it.
